Namm 2011 Day 2


NAMM's Theme was Turn it to 11..... It was at times ... As loud as a rock concert in some areas. Sound police were on the show floor. had to wear hearing protection while on the show floor to protect the hearing that I have.



I told them to park the rental around back not in the driveway !

NAMM 2011 Day 1


Stopped at a local HS near San Deigo this morning. We are planning a workshop at the HS in the summer.....
Oh... You can see the ocean from the labs... What a difficult teaching environment.

NAMM 2011 ( National Association of Music Merchants)

Wow, like a kid in a candy store looking at the littlest things just enjoying the way it was developed or the type of wood or finish ... Below are some generalpics at the show.
This place is huge (6 halls) of all types of musical instruments and supplies. Tomorrow is the 8 hour marathon at the show.

Here are a few Guitars getting finished. we had 18 out of 19 (wow) finish with playable guitars the last person just had to finish stringing and intonation of the guitar! It was a fun workshop and a pleaseure in meeting all the faculty from around the US.

A quick visit to Pawn stars before Lunch

A small group of us went to Pawn Stars this morning... It was a pilgrimage for some ... for others just an interesting visit.. in a unique part of Las Vegas
They were filming today so as they get close to shooting a scene they clear the store.... and then out popped Chumley.... from the back room....

All this is occurring while back home the snow is coming down again....  It was cold in Vegas high of 46 and cloudy all day.
